Policy:
Stonehill College offers admission to international students who demonstrate academic excellence and proficiency in the English language. International students must also provide evidence of the ability to meet the financial costs that accompany enrollment at the College since financial assistance is extremely limited.
Procedure:
An international student must submit to the Dean of Admissions and Enrollment Management the following items.
1. by January 15 for the fall semester and November 1 for the spring semester, a completed Common Application, a Stonehill College Supplemental Form for International Applicants, and a $50.00 filing fee;
2. an official copy of a secondary school transcript, leaving certificate or national exam results with an official English translation, if necessary;
3. international transfer students should submit university transcripts and course descriptions from each university attended;
4. the International Student Financial Statement with financial documentation of ability to meet educational and living expenses at Stonehill;
5. an official score of at least 550 on the written version or 213 on the computer version of the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) for those students whose native language is not English;
6. official results of the SAT I exam.
