A5.13 Maximum Credits for A Major

The number of credits required for a major, excluding those that also fulfill Cornerstone Program of General Education requirements, cannot exceed 50% of the credits required for a degree (i.e., 62 credits). An exception to this policy can be made for programs that must offer additional credits as dictated by the accreditation standards of a professional society.
