Stonehill College allows for the employment of minors on campus in compliance with federal and state child labor laws, including, but not limited to, Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 56. Any individual desiring further information may contact these offices:

Human Resources shall ensure that all departments on campus comply with federal and state law concerning the employment of minors. Human Resources shall publish at least annually, and sooner when a significant change in the law occurs, guidelines for departments that wish to employ minors ages 14-17 for campus jobs.

No department shall employ a minor without following the guidelines published by Human Resources. All departments employing minors shall abide by College policies regarding the employment of relatives.
