The Chief of Police shall establish guidelines for the distribution of all campus parking permits. The Police Department will identify parking spaces for as many senior, junior and sophomore students as possible, while ensuring adequate parking spaces for faculty and staff, guests, and attendees at other College sponsored events.
The Chief of Police shall publish on the Campus Police Website procedures for requesting a parking permit.
The College may establish a lottery system for distributing parking permits.
The College may establish different criteria for distributing parking permits to residential, commuter, and part-time students.
The Chief of Campus police may grant a temporary parking permit to an individual upon request.
Any individual denied a parking permit by the Chief of Campus Police may appeal that decision in writing to the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students.
Students incurring more than five parking violations in an academic year will lose their parking privileges for the remainder of that academic year.
Students must register their own vehicles. If a student falsely registers a vehicle for another student, the student shall be in violation of the College’s Community Standards.
