POLICY:
Student Financial Assistance shall distribute tuition and fee bills to all students.
PROCEDURE:
- Student Financial Assistance shall inform students of their bill due dates. Any remittance received after that date will be considered late, and a monthly late payment fee will be assessed. The entire balance, including the late fee, is due and payable before students may register for classes.
- Bills are prepared on a monthly basis for all students with an outstanding balance of greater than $25.
- Bills for currently enrolled students are available online. Students and student assigned authorized users receive email and/or text notifications when new bills become available.
- Bills for unenrolled students with an outstanding balance are sent by mail on a monthly basis.
- Except for courses accepted in transfer from another institution, foreign or domestic, all credits applied toward a degree are billed by and payable to Stonehill, including credits earned at an off-campus location such as an internship site or a school where practice teaching takes place.
- If an institution or agency charges a service fee to the College for the supervision of student interns, etc., the student is responsible for the fee.
- Fees are non-refundable.
- Full-time enrollment consists of 12-17 credits per semester. A student who registers for fewer than 11 credits in a semester is considered part-time and is charged at the per credit rate. Students enrolling in greater than 17 credits are assessed the per credit rate for anything over 17. (Policy A5.9)
