Stonehill College will conduct a minimum of two (2) professional reference checks for final candidates. During the interview process, candidates must complete and sign a reference release form or otherwise give written permission for the College to conduct reference checks.
When checking references, questions directly related to legitimate hiring criteria will be asked of all persons contacted. The written documentation of each reference check will be retained in the Office of Human Resources for a period of three (3) years.
