E3.8 Employment Offers

To promote consistency in the method of extending offers of employment, conditional offers of employment may be extended prior to the completion of required background screenings. This policy applies to all employees of Stonehill College.

Offers for all positions are extended by a representative of the Office of Human Resources, or with the approval of the Director of Human Resources may be extended by the hiring supervisor.

Offers to senior level management positions may be extended by the appropriate Divisional Vice President or President of Stonehill College. Upon the successful completion of all background checks, a representative from the Office of Human Resources will contact a candidate and inform the candidate that all required background checks have been completed.

For Faculty positions, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, appropriate School Dean, or President of Stonehill College will extend employment offers after consultation with the Director of Human Resources.
