E3.14 Attendance

Effective Date: August 30, 2019
Last Reviewed: August 30, 2019

Employees should arrive promptly at their start time on days that they are scheduled to work. Employees unable to report to work on a given day must notify their supervisor at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of a shift. Employee who are going to be late by 15 minutes or more for the scheduled start of a shift must contact their supervisor. If a supervisor feels an employee has excessive absenteeism, a meeting with the employee will be scheduled and progressive corrective action may result. If the employee feels that issues relating to their attendance are related to a qualified disability and the employee desires an accommodation, the employee should contact the Director of Human Resources to engage in an interactive process to determine the availability of reasonable accommodations.
